I wen't to minecraft.net and logged in, last time I checked, I was steve. So I changed it but it won't change when I go in-game! Plz help!

I am having the exact same problem! If I play the game in 1.7.5 I won't be Steve. It just seems to be in the 1.7.7 update.

Hey this literly just happend to me ;( but mine makes me steve but mine makes my game crash when im on servers PLEASE HELP CANT GO ON SERVERS ;(
