Hi,

I have both the old and new launcher, but I use the old one for the older versions of minecraft. However, it refuses to login on the old launcher and I can't use that to play on old servers. I've checked both mojang and another status site and it says the login, session, and website servers are all online. I also went to login.minecraft.net and it says this:


Is there any way to fix this?

The old launcher is no longer suppported due to the security changes that occurred yesterday in response to the Heartbleed bug.

You can do that, but for many people, like me, it can download the version but fails to start the game.

As far as not connecting to minecraft.net, it doesn't really matter if you're just playing singleplayer. Play offline.

That may work for you, but minecraft.net doesnt let you download the launcher either, and if you download it somewhere else and login, it won't let you play at all because it says its not downloaded

i want to use old launcher so i can do a lets play of minecraft in alpha 1.0.15, but when i use the new launcher it has no sound. but the old launcher cant connect to minecraft.net and i cant play offline because it says its not downloaded. is there any way to add sound to the old versions of mc with the new launcher?
