I cannot open the new Minecraft launcher...

In order to try and update the Minecraft client, I decided to start completely anew and delete EVERYTHING from my computer (related to Minecraft, not including saves). I then downloaded the new launcher and tried to start it, but I got this on the console:

This was probably really dumb, I'm sorry. Please help.
