Minecraft is not working on my laptop and I can't figure out a solution.
Lenovo Y570: Intel i7-2670, 6GB of Ram, SanDisk 120GB SSD, Windows 7 64-bit, Intel HD 3000/nvidia GT555M with Optimus support.
Windows is up to date, java is up to date and display drivers are up to date. I've tried to launch it with Norton Internet Security running and disabled. I have reinstalled minecraft, java and the display drivers, Everything I try leads to the same error, "Java platform SE Binary has stopped working"
Is this the place to get support or does Mojang have a proper place for support?
Is there a way to generate a proper log file so I can identify where the problem is? This is what is shown in the background when I try to run the game.
This is what I see when running the game from a batch file using the command I posted above.
I've now tried using an alternate (Magic Launcher) launcher but that's not working either.

Anyone have any idea what the problem is?

I reinstalled the intel display drivers (I have a laptop that has optimus with Intel HD 3000 and nvidia Geforce 555m GPUs) but that didn't work
I saw in another forum message that the game worked if you uninstalled the 64-bit version of Java. I did that and the raw launcher opened up.
Now why is the 64-bit version not working? I believe that removes the far draw distance option.
