I had an extremely successful world, with lots of diamonds, enchantments, achievments, etc., and when I opened the world this morning, ALL OF MY ITEMS WERE GONE. I have no idea what happened, but I'm very angry, and I'd like to know if I'd be able to fix this by going back to an old save, or if not, what the HECK do I do??
Use time machine or whatever that Macs have. and next time don't use a snapshot release with saves that you care about.
The inventory system (and chests) is changing in 1.8, you can't go back once your save has been updated to the new system, and there's no guarantee that the new system won't change before the final release either.
