I've been playing minecraft since beta. But for some reason, the MC launcher won't connect to minecraft.net. I've looked around for a solution, but everything is from 2012-2013, and the solution to them are not working for me (Deleting .minecraft, Re-downloading launcher). Can anyone help me?
I'm having this problem too, although a new user. I am logged in, on the launcher page I press play and the green loading bar loads, I am taken to the Mojang screen, then end up back at the launcher again. No error box comes up.
See if you can download an older Minecraft version like 1.7.2 or 1.7.4. If you have a different source of internet you could use try that as well, some files I cannot download unless I'm using my phone's internet. Hope this helps
