Looks like its a map bug ??? when made another new map and got the needed items(by hacking) and tried it, it worked

Don't Say :

Make a new map.

It's probably a bug. It's happened to me before, while trying to craft a iron pickaxe.
Btw, can you craft other stuff? If so, then it's a bug and you'll have to leave it for a while. It will go away eventually.
