It seems my WASD and spacebar doesn't work unless I hold ctrl (Control), It's the first time I'm using Minecraft of this laptop although the keys seem to work on everything else, even in the minecraft chat bar.
I have JAVA x32 & x64 bit installed, I have tried changing the keybindings, testing them then resetting them and trying them again but still nothing.
Minecraft is also up to date.
I am using a QWERTY key layout with QWERTY settings.
Not only does it not work on Minecraft, it also doesn't work on other games (Online flashes, I haven't tried disks).
So basically the keys don't work 'Unless' ctrl is held down and I have no other ideas on what the cause was or how to resolve it.
If anyone else has had this problem and a solution I be very happy if you were to share it.
Update: It seems to have resolved itself, I haven't done anything to it so I don't know what was wrong but I'm glad it's working now.
All I can suggest for anyone else is to wait and keep trying everyday with the hope that it'll resolve itself.
You might not think this answer is what you're looking for but after you've experienced it (Most likely if you're reading this) then you'll understand it.
