Hello, I am currently having trouble with Vanilla Minecraft. This is what I see pretty much every time:
# EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x4de42a80, pid=2848, tid=2200
#
# JRE version: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (7.0_51-b13) (build 1.7.0_51-b13)
# Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (24.51-b03 mixed mode windows-x86 )
# Problematic frame:
# C 0x4de42a80
#
# Failed to write core dump. Minidumps are not enabled by default on client versions of Windows
I have the latest drivers for a Dell Inspiron 1521 with Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit. I also have the latest Java. Can anyone please help? Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Forgot to mention that my Processor is AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-58 1.90 GHz
I had this same error on my Inspiron 1721 (same laptop but bigger screen). I solved it by simply using system restore to a date that i knew it was working. I don't know it that helps you at all but I thought I would throw it out there just in case.
