I am trying to transfer a minecraft world from my old computer to a new one. On my old laptop the world plays fine and shows up when I go to select a world. I have been playing on this world for several months without a problem. However when I look under my saves folder to transfer it to a flash drive it isnt there. Every other world is listed though. Does anyone know how to fix this or whats wrong?

The name of a world, and the directory it is in do not have to match. If you look at the world selection screen carefully that the "name" of the world is on the first line in white, and the directory name is on the second line next to the date.
