Hey pplz. I'm having some slight issues. Basically, whenever I run Minecraft, after some time of use, my computer crashes. It doesn't matter what I am doing, but switching dimensions/worlds has a better chance of it.
The crash is strange. Basically, everything goes black for an instant, then a shutdown syntax appears on the screen, and it powers down as if I had done it myself.
Java is updated, and this happens modded or otherwise. I play an FTB heavily modded game, as well as play on a few servers with only the 1.7.2 version of Zans Map, though the glitch has been happening long before I installed that. I play the servers on the normal Minecraft client.
No other glitches occur.
Frankly, I'm afraid of what this might do to my computer over time. I'd appreciate any help.
3/11/14: I have reinstalled ubuntu, so the OS is a clean slate. The only alteration I have made is to install Java 7 (The highest on Ubuntu). The issue still occurs. Switching from OpenJava to OracleJava doesn't do anything for me either. If anything, it's made things much worse. I can't go more than five minutes without crashing, if that.
3/13/14: The MultiMC client just did the same thing after about three minutes of running v.1.4.5. However, it did not crash when running 1.2.5, though there was a different glitch that was entirely mod related.
Before anyone asks, there are logs, but I can't find a way to upload them. It's too much to stick in here, and pastebin won't accept anything over 300k.

It will come out looking like this:
Second, have you tried launching with the vanilla launcher and not MultiMC?

Curse PremiumI've used the vanilla launcher modded and unmodded. I have also used FTB and MultiMC.
I've got two reports, I've upped them both to Ubuntu Pastebin:
MultiMC Log file;
http://paste.ubuntu.com/7092514/
FTB Forge Log File
http://paste.ubuntu.com/7092527/
For whatever reason the vanilla client didn't do it this time.
