I have a problem with my minecraft world. It's not saving properly upon exit. I always use the save and exit button, never close it any other way.
To explain: I have a tower that I have demolished 3 times now. Each time I demolished it, I reopened the game, and it was back again. However, in my inventory, was all the cobble from the tower. Also, my pickaxes had the durability from after, not before I demolished my tower. It's like my tower has become a cobble generator.
Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but when I'm trying to make a villager trading hall and my infinite villager spawner keeps turning back into dirt and stone, it's really beginning to upset me, as I keep losing hours of work each time.
My game has never been modded, I've only used mcedit twice, once to relight my world, and once to get some watermelon seeds.
I've used a snapshot recently to determine how well my cave spider spawners would work with the changes, and foolishly did not create a backup world. Lost all my inventory for that. Could that be the cause of this, as well?
Thank you for your time,
Wolbaz
