I'm setting up a custom computer and I wanted to test Minecraft on the integrated graphics. It runs on an Intel i3-3250. I installed the latest version of Java (version 7 update 51) on Windows 7 32-bit, and when I attempted to launch the game, a window pops up that looks like it should be filled with the launcher, but it just gives me this error here on top of just a white page. http://pastebin.com/ek6bZSjm
I've tried uninstalling Java and installing it again. Minecraft hasn't even downloaded itself at this point. I'm using the latest version of Avast (free) if that matters.
Having exclamation marks or other special characters in your Windows username can break Java, which in turn breaks Minecraft. To fix this issue, either create a new Windows account without any special characters (only A-Z and 0-9), or change the working directory of the launcher.
