So I have a Lenovo ideapad 5 computer, and it has been running minecraft completely fine 70-40 FPS continuously.
I closed my minecraft window, and when I re-logged in, I noticed the home screen wasn't quite as sharp. I tried logging into a server that had always been fine for me before, but now I was getting about half pixel resolution and my POV was pointed at the floor. I moved my mouse and my hand animation lagged out, going to the center of the screen, and my POV was pointed at the floor again. When I hit escape, it took about 45 seconds for the screen to finally render and then I could move my mouse freely over the buttons. I tried clicking Super Secret Settings in F3 mode to see if I had a test shader on and I didn't. I logged out and relogged into the server with the same result as above. I then tried another server, having the same problem, with very laggy, low res, jerky POV that always face the floor as soon as I stopped moving the mouse. In F3 mode it still said I was getting 50 frames a second, even though I was lagging far more than that, probably 1-2 FPS or lower. I then logged into my singleplayer world. Same thing. I restarted, and redownloaded Minecraft and each time got stuck with the same problem.
Throughout this, my Minecraft client never crashed or gave me an error.
I have no idea how to fix this and would love if someone could help me out.
If you need more information I'll try to tell you as soon as I read your post.
Do not make duplicate topics please, that just jams the forum up.
Make sure your graphics drivers are fully upto date (use the manufacturer website, not windows update)
I went to the manufacturer website and downloaded the scan, The scan told me my drivers were up to date and had no problems whatsoever (weird pie graph gave me a 100%). Not sure what else to do. I've found that I can actually chat when I'm in the POV jerk mode, but it is impossible to play.
