I'm trying to use the /fill command to fill an area with sand, but I'm getting the message "Unknown command. Try /help for a list of commands". I've even checked every command using "tab" and /fill doesn't show up. All of the help I've found online is people using version 1.6.4, which is before the command was introduced... but I'm using 1.7.5 with no mods. PC version.The exact syntax I'm using is:
So 1.7.5 and having the "most recent version" box in my options checked doesn't necessarily give me the latest snapshot? Can you explain what they are and where to get and how to install?

3. Check the box that says "Enable experimental development versions ("snapshots")"
4. A window will pop up. Click "yes"
5. Go under the "Use version" drop down arrow and press "14w10b" OR "Use latest version"
6. Press "Save profile" and then play the game.
