I need to run Minecraft Offline in a public library on a PC without Internet access.
This game is the most popular game we have in the library, and therefore I keep running into a problem with Minecraft being logged out. When someone ends their game play, or tries to log on to THEIR profile, not realizing this is an offline version, I have to spend about 20 minutes turning on wireless access, logging in to minecraft again, turning off wireless, and testing. If I am NOT here, once the game is logged out, anyone who wants to play has to wait until a time that I am here so I can set Minecraft back up again.
I wish to run this game so the desktop shortcut goes directly to choosing singleplayer or multiplayer game - the start screen for the game - so that no one accidentally logs out of our profile for the game. I need the launcher to just run automatically and hidden.
- Has anyone tested this app? It seems to be a perfect solution to my problem, but I need to know if it is acceptable before installing it on a library computer.
Minecraft version: 1.7.5
Launcher version: 1.3.10
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit
PC: Dell Alienware X51
We don't support cracked versions of Minecraft. You require internet access at least once to download the game through the official launcher, and thereafter you can play offline if you stay signed in and don't have internet access.
