On a small server with friends, I built a simple skeleton killing contraption out of a spawner I found inside a hill hear my old home. Everything was completely fine and then two friends commented on severe game freezing/crashing if they looked in that direction or got near the hill. I came back to see, and yeah. Major freezing.
I turned graphics down about as far as they'd go and I could finally get close, but the game is still freaking out. My memory is 26% of 1GB, allocated is at 36% when I'm at the problem area so that leaves me baffled.
It was completely fine before, so I'm wondering what happened? I know I also mined deep in that same chunk, but I didn't do anything crazy - it was just strip mining. The server was refreshed/restarted and that didn't fix it.
Every driver and all related things are up to date. I'm on a PC with Windows 7 64 bit.
- Are u the Server or the Server on an other PC/Server?
- Freeze only u PC or the Server or the PC´s from u friends to?
- The Version of u Minecraft.
- If u host the Server. Use u the Client as Server (Open to LAN Option) or an extra Server Program.
(And if u use Server Program Vanilla or something other)?
- The server's on another PC/Server
- All my friends experience the freezing
- We're using snapshot 14w06b
- I'm not the host, but the server is Vanilla with mob griefing turned off
I actually don't have a crashlog since I haven't exactly crashed - I've only frozen in intervals of several seconds, sometimes more like the game is about to crash but doesn't. I may be able to ask one of my friends if they have one.
OK
But i think u only can ask the Server Owner if there all OK.
Maybe some of the Server Map is going wrong.
(But hard to say without the server map to examining.)
