When I start up Minecraft on launcher 1.3.10 I can't hear anything. I have tried restarting my computer, deleting Minecraft and downloading it again, putting my sound up to 100%. I can hear everything else on my computer but not Minecraft.

First, set your launcher to stay open: click Edit Profile, then check Launcher Visibility, select Keep Launcher Open and finally hit Save Profile.
Afterwards, start the game, go into a world and break a block so that a sound should be played, then provide development console (found on second tab of the launcher) if the sound isn't played.
First, copy all of the text: right-click on the text, then click 'Copy All Text'. Finally, paste it in spoiler tags in a reply for us to see.
