Hi, recently, Minecraft was experiencing a load of slowdown because I guess I had it on for a little too long (and my computer is pretty crummy). But really, this is normal. I typically just have to wait it out or tab out and close an Internet browser, and then I can play the game again.
But this time around, I guess I kinda rushed through the motions and Minecraft didn't close well. I had to use Task Manager to close it. Well, when I open the same map now that I had opened before, it experiences extreeeeeme slowdown, and there's nothing I can do to fix it. Even hitting Esc to get to the menu takes about 30 seconds to a minute. And it's just on this one map. It doesn't happen on the other maps.
Is there a way to fix this? Is there something I can reset to remove the slowdown from this map? I've been keeping backups of my maps because I know stuff like this happens but it's been days since my last backup and I really don't want to go back to one of them just because of the slowdown. I mean, my map is still intact... it's just unplayable because of the slowdown.
