Was running it on 1.6.2 no problem, took a break, came back and tried installing 1.7.5 and all I get when I try to open my savefile is a 100% empty Minecraft world and my avatar is stuck fixed in a single spot. I can't even toggle the debug info in this world since I don't even think coordinates exist in it. Then I switch back to 1.6.2 and the savefile is fine.
Now, this is a very old save file. I've been working on it on and off since roughly September 2011 with about 80 days of accumulated playtime, so maybe that factors in? old savefile + 1.7.5 simply cannot compute? That'd suck since I would really like to try out the new twitch.tv support.
None of that worked - I deleted the Eli-PC files and then ran it through RegionFixer. RF says no problems detected in any of my worlds, so I boot up 1.7.5 and it still is completely blank. Here's what it looks like: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fn4esvfk4xizstg/2014-03-03_22.43.59.png
Hop u have lucking around.
(I spawn underground, on testing u world. Pleas try fly up and break 2 blocks [1 stone and 1 sand] and i think u are fine.)
Take my 1/2 hour to finish uploading other fix world and than i can upload u world.
Thanks for all the help though, really appreciate it.
One thing that half worked - one suggestion I tried when Googling before was I copied the level.dat/level.dat_mcr/level.dat_old/session.lock files from a newly created world into my screwed up Castle Rhizome world. Booting it from version 1.7.5 it proceeds to then load SOME of the my Overworld chunks, but not the ones where I had been spending most of my time recently. So I definitely know those chunks are somehow corrupted for 1.7.2 and above, except RegionFixer isn't detecting it for some reason.
Anyway, uploading new save now, maybe you can spot something I missed - unfortunately my speeds are pretty bad right now too.

OK. And i right now uploading u fix world. (Test it with 1.7.4 her and work fine)
Will take under 1/2 hour to finish upload.
I will test the u world on 1.7.5 if i came home. (only have 1.7.4 her and an not from my managed firewall that block Minecraf DL´s)
But i don't think the will change if the run her fine on 1.7.4 ,-))
Ok i have test my first fix for u at home with 1.7.5 (don't work) but after delet Minecraft Version 1.7.5 and let it new download it u fix world work fine.
P.S.: U have still this (Eli-PC's conflicted copy 2014-03-01) Files in u region and Player Folder.
P.P.S: The world need up to 6 Seconds to load her. Maybe because u removed Bedrock. (just a shoot in the dark)
Oh hey, yeah the (Eli-PC) stuff was still in there since it was a backup zip before I tried your suggestions.
Anyway, tried deleting the 1.7 versions and re-downloading, instead of it going back I got the game crashing with the message "seems to be an error loading a biome of a chunk" and this is how the report reads:

ran through region-fixer.exe again, no errors detected, deleted the 1.7 versions again, they just went back to blank black space.

(Upload u world to an Fielhoster and i look for problems)
But first u can check it on u one. Try going from 1.6.2 first to 1.7.2 and see if u have the same problem.
(Make a backup first to prevent problems)
I'll be working on my savefile today though so just let me know what files I need to delete or alter if you can figure it out.
Thanks so much! Really don't wanna miss out on this twitch.tv support.
Ok littel confust on beginning of fix.
- Pleas remove the (Eli-PC´s conflictet copy....) file out u Regionsfolder.
- Run Regionsfix in MC-Edit.
If u want the Fix world from my u have to take u time. (Slow upload her)
(I spawn underground, on testing u world. Pleas try fly up and break 2 blocks [1 stone and 1 sand] and i think u are fine.)
Take my 1/2 hour to finish uploading other fix world and than i can upload u world.

OK. And i right now uploading u fix world. (Test it with 1.7.4 her and work fine)
Will take under 1/2 hour to finish upload.
EDIT: And finish https://www.mediafire.com/?od5juuytoacy0pa
also you should check out Tall Worlds
But i don't think the will change if the run her fine on 1.7.4 ,-))
Here's the latest iteration of my save btw: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gqmc4cysd2b9o3p/Castle Rhizome - Copy.rar

Should've done that before, thanks for the help guys.
