I really want to get that dirt that grass doesn't spread onto, but I can't figure out the command. I'm in 1.7.2 please help!
(ps; I'm trying to make the ShadowClan camp from the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. I've used soul sand, gravel, and podzol, along with spruce leaves & dead bushes but I need this dirt so that I don't have to find and replace every grass block in a 16 chunk radius :P)

Ah. That's damage values.
Do:
/give @p dirt 1 1
That will give you a single dirt block, without grass spread.
Ps: Love that series, recommend it to people.
