Minecraft Forums

I have a pc, I had someone remove viruses from my computer and when i got it back a lot of stuff was missing. Couldn't find my minecraft game so I got online and downloaded the newest version. I signed in and opened minecraft, but all my save files were missing. I put a few weeks of time in this game and to lose it that easy would be hard to start all over again. I thought save files were in the cloud? If someone could help, it would be awesome.
