Been searching the forum cant really find what i am looking for. I have an older Windows computer probably 5 to 6 years old now still does basic college work pretty well, and i recently cleaned off all the trash from over the years. Deleted alot of programs and random software. Well long story short i still have tons of lag in Vanilla Minecraft(and modded)... Talk about frustration.... So i have been pondering buying a macbook pro and was just wondering how minecraft runs on a mac... Smooth or no?? Any thoughts?
It can run the game with decent performance, that's pretty much all I can say without going into details. From a practical point of view, it may be good for you to buy a Windows computer instead, as you are a Windows user, most of the files and programs that used to run on your old machine will run on the new one.
This is still very much your decision though, but I will not recommend the Macbook for gaming purposes.
