So I've made new chests to test with, I crash every single time I close a chest. I've changed game directories to new folders to try and reload, still happens.
Game Version: 1.7.4
GeForce 780 GTX
i5 3570k

EDIT: Fixed after reinstalling it for a 3rd time after making this post. >.>
For future reference, this is the case of the game not finding the correct assets to play, or that such assets are corrupted. The usual remedy to this is to, yes, remove the game files completely and letting the launcher redownload the files.
Locked, as issue is resolved.
