Need some help and advice with Minecraft running slow with Twitch broadcasting.

Here are my computer specs:

Operating System: Windows 7 (Service Pack 1)
CPU Type: AMD Athlon(tm) X4 750K Quad Core Processor
CPU Speed: 3.42 GHz
System Memory: 8.54 GB
Video Card Model: ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series
Video Card Memory: 769.65 MB
Primary Display Resolution: 1920x1200
Secondary Display Resolution: 1680x1050
Hard Disk Size: 1 TB

My computer gets super choppy and acts like there is a lot of lag as soon as I start the Twitch broadcast. I am also giving MC 5G of memory from the launcher.
