I have no idea why Minecraft is freezing randomly anymore. My computer was just recently optimized by Grime Fighter the problem is probably not a virus, I have no mods installed (of course) so its not that, but I think the problem might be: My computer has taken hits a couple times, like I accidentally hit it with my knee one time (don't ask how), but after starting it with safe mode then regular mode I saw no performance difference. Then there was this time I took my computer to Turks and Caicos and we stayed in this awful room, I opened my computer after a not-good night's sleep to find it was filled with little tiny bugs! Legitimate, creepy, crawling, bugs. They actually made my computer have a blue screen. We moved rooms after that. But now, its been like 7 months since this happened, and haven't seen one creature on my computer since (I hope they didn't lay eggs!). But what I personally think is the problem is my computer's RAM. With no other programs running, the available physical memory is around 3000 to 3500 MB, which I.. think.. is good, remind me if I'm wrong. I think Minecraft has been using A LOT more RAM than is used to. Ever since updating to 1.7, Minecraft has been crashing out of the blue. I can prove the RAM is the problem because if I set Minecraft's priority to high, then I can play for a lot longer before it crashes again. Is Minecraft really requiring more RAM with every update? Is it just me? Is my computer Dying? Is 3 years enough for computer to age to the point of death? How do I completely fix this?

Sounds like your computer is dying. Minecraft only usually (more if using LOTS of mods) needs ~300-500 MB, so your amount that it is using is too much. The hits and bugs (The irony, BUGS) might have dealt the fatality to your computer.
What i would suggest is taking the computer to a local tech support place, and see if they can repair it. Or, just get a new computer. As for the RAM, try adding the below into the JVM arguments field in the launcher profile settings, and check the box to the left of the field. Delete whatever's there previously.
