Having trouble trying to open

Ok, so I downloaded Minecraft and saved it. When I try to open for the first time, I keep getting this message.

Could not find main class: net.minecraft.bootstrap.program will be forced to exit

I have no clue what to do. Getting a little frustrated.

Any info/help would be greatly appreciated, hopefully it's something simple.
