I haven't played MC in about 6 months and I just tried to spawn into a world and I can't see any blocks. I can see the outline and the particles from breaking them but everything else is invisible. I tried uninstalling Minecraft completely and reinstalled with the same results. Is this a known bug and any fixes?

I too, am in the same situation, after not playing for a few months. I come back, all I can see is block outlines and picture frames. Same thing with or without server textures enabled. I deleted my minecraft profile and recreated it with the same issue.
