So I havent played minecraft in a good six months due to to school and life . ANYWAY, I re downloaded the client and attempted to start minecraft 1.7.4 (or the most recent version as detonated by the fancy-schmancy new setting's GUI). The little loading bar would fill up to about 90% and then the screen would go black, the Mojang sign would come up, and it would take me right back to the launch screen like it had never loaded. Am I the only one who has had this happen?
We need to see what is in your Development Console. You csn find this by clicking the second tab at the top of the launcher. Paste the contents of it here.
