I just recently got minecraft for the PC, had played the console version a few times before. The game ran fine, up until this afternoon. It seems as though, everytime I or someone else, breaks any form of glass. I freeze and the game completely locks up. I have to control+alt+delete to get out, not really sure why its doing this all of the sudden, is there a fix for this? I almost ment to put v1.7.4 instead of whats in the title...
It is erroing for the fact the sound of breaking glass does not exist, and hence is crashing the game.
You may need to reinstall the locally installed files that Minecraft puts into place.
To do so, press your Windows+R keys, type in %AppData% at the dialog, and press Enter. In the window that appears, open the .minecraft directory, and delete everything except for the saves directory that you see therein. Then, try running Minecraft again.
To get at Minecraft's locally stored files using the launcher, start the launcher. Press Edit Profile, then Open Game Dir.
