On lowest settings possible minecraft runs at 60 fps! I've seen people with similar specs that run at 200-400 fps On highest settings! On highest settings I run at 20-30. So I'm not sure what else to say other than I'm not sure whats wrong and would like help. Thanks!
You most likely don't need more than 60fps, as if you monitor has a refresh rate 60Hz (which is most monitors) it could only display at 60fps, so anything above that is a waste. Unless you have a 120Hz monitor like me, you don't need greater than 60fps for playing Minecraft.

I agree with this post that he doesn't need more than 60fps but that isn't the problem here. The problem is he should be getting more fps and he only gets 60fps on the minimum setting.

Something must be hurting his performance. The only suggestion I have so far is to make sure javaw.exe is added in the nvidia control panel.
My specs are:
3.4 GHz Intel Core i7
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

At least 86% of what I say is always correct.
