Greetings. I am wondering what I can do to get the game to utilize the available resources my desktop has. Currently running win7ultimate 64-bit.
Here are the system specs:
Processor amd fx8320 3.5ghz 8-core black edition
RAM 16gig corsair blue 1600mhz
Video radeon hd 7900 series 3g gddr5
HD 2TB SATA6 Seagate Barracuda
Mobo ASUS m5a99fx pro
Tower Cooler master stormtrooper
Power Cooler master silent pro m850
cpu fan Cooler master V8 cpu fan
IS there anyway to speed up the game with the resources I have ?
I do NOT play on any server, I just play sp at home, with no mods or resource packs.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to view this.
What is the current speed that the game is running at currently (fps)? If it is above 60 you don't need it any faster, as most monitors can only refresh at that speed. You don't always need a game to be using all you system resources, this is not 1995 anymore. Systems are fast enough to run a game now with extra resources to spare.
the fps on average is around 45 to 55, depending on how the chunks are loading(?).
My main concern is how long it takes for the landscape to " form up " , such as when I load the game up....it seems to me to take about 30-45 seconds to show what my sight distance is, even if at my start base.
And thanks for the reply...hehehe 1995, I was still playing with a C64...patience IS a 1541 disc drive.

Keep it simple, keep it real. Peace out.
At least 86% of what I say is always correct.
