Yea so I've played minecraft since 1.0 official release. I haven't seen anything like this other than a missing chunck in 1.0-1.3 updates. I have tried it both with 1.7.2 and 1.7.4 to confirm it I did have optifine but that shouldn't be a cause, because its hasn't happened till now. Look at the spoiler to see what I mean.

I am having the exact same problem! I have an R9 280x and I sometimes play MC with my little brother and I can't see anything ever since I updated to the 14.1 Beta Drivers from AMD

This is the fix to the invisible blocks, Follow the instructions on this page, and it should fix the issue.

Put the file some where else then drop in the dlls fixed it for me. now lets hope it works with mc

still can put it in i changed the permissions and the only one i still cant move into the folder is atio6axx.dll

ok i got it i had to move the existing one from system32 then put the fixed one in

i moved it but didnt work Needs to see this
