Okay, I just got a new computer (well, older computer, got a new windows 7 home premium and solid state 120gb drive put into it) and I want to play minecraft. I go to play and it said I needed java or something like that, so my dad installed all that mess just like he had on his computer. (I used to play minecraft there. this computer is nearly the same as his).
Note: we had to fix that because my hard drive broke. Before, Minecraft worked perfectly.
So NOW, after we did the whole java thing, minecraft goes to the news page and I click play. It acts like it wants to work, it goes to the Mojang screen, then goes back to the news screen! I keep clicking play over and over but it just keeps cutting up. I'm not sure if this is a minecraft problem or a computer problem, but I need to know ASAP what to do. I haven't been able to play minecraft in weeks and I miss it. Help is MUCH appreciated.
