Sorry If I'm not posting in the right section, I'm sorry this is my first post
So I just recently began playing the 1.7.4 version and my problem started with extreme lag. I've been playing the older versions and they all worked fine without lag. At first I thought it was just my computer (windows 7) with a whole bunch of viruses so I wiped it with a recovery disk. I went back on to minecraft after and there was STILL extreme lag. So I know it's not something wrong with my laptop. After the lag, in the world, chunks wouldn't load in areas. I'd be all dark and if I walked over to it I would keep falling down. I kept entering the world hoping the world would just fix itself, but after awhile it stopped letting me enter altogether. I would click on the world and it would just load for a bit but then go back to the home screen with multiplayer and singleplayer. I went in the .minecraft folder and deleted some forcedchunks.dat files because I noticed that a new world I made didn't have that in its folder that but that didn't help. I still can't enter it.
I've been reading these forums and someone had a similar problem that I had with the chunks (until the world stopped letting me enter). I'll put the link up. But in the comments someone said that they could fix it somehow if the person uploaded it. If anyone knows how to fix saved data or repopulate world I can upload it for you! I really think it's just a problem with my saves in the .minecraft folder because a different world was working fine...
I could probably fix it with MCedit. Could you PM me a link to the download of the world? (MediaFire or other)

Sounds u have an Entities problem. Most time in combination with an defect or wrong located chunk.
U can try the command line tool. "Minecraft-Region-Fixer" to solve the problem on u one or upload it to an fielhoster (like Mediafirer)
so that i fix it for u. Simply give the link to the world and i try it.
P.s.: Remember never do fixing on the original files, always make backup first.
