I'd love to know what caused these errors to suddenly begin popping up, but first a little backstory...
I play MC on my laptop. I was recently housesitting, so playing MC away from my normal internet connection. Boyfriend decides to host a sever for the two of us to play on and it works perfectly. I returned home yesterday, and have been getting several errors when trying to play with him on the server now. The two that I wrote down are as follows:
Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
Beyond those, I have also just gotten "connection lost" several times. Would be fine if both of us were having the issue, but it is just me.
Right before I am disconnected from the server, my game begins to lag, and anything I say over skype becomes unintelligible.
What is causing these issues? Could it be the change in internet connection somehow? Because I have been suffering intermittant internet connection problems since being back home as well.
I have tried looking for answers on these forums and others, tried uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft, restarting my computer, my router, everything I can possibly think of. Please help me! =(
