Okay...so I've noticed that lately whenever I play Minecraft on multiplayer mode, connecting to a server (hosted elsewhere, not hosted on my computer), after about 5-10 minutes of playing, my internet stops working on anything else.
What I mean is...Minecraft is still working fine. I don't get timed out, I don't get lag, nothing is wrong with Minecraft. But if I try to use Skype, Google Chrome, or anything else that uses internet, it says there is no internet connection. Even Wi-Fi on my phone says I have no connection.
It's like...all my internet is getting sucked into Minecraft. Is there a setting or something I should be tweaking to prevent this? I would rather have a bit of lag on MC and be able to do Skype calls or check a website simultaneously. It's really frustrating.
Also worth mentioning...the reason I *know* it's MC causing the issue is that as soon as I quit the game, my internet goes back to normal in a few seconds.
I receive no errors, aside from the "Could not connect to this page" type errors you get on internet browsers when you have no connection.
