Failed to Login: The authentication is currently down for maintenance.
This issue has been going on for almost a week now and it is only for 1.7.2 and 1.7.4 servers. I can connect just fine with 1.6.4 but when I try 1.7.2 it gives me this message. it is only happening to me on this one computer I am using.
Things I have already done:
1. Restart Minecraft
2. Restart computer (it is only happening to me on this one computer)
3. Restart internet
4. Re download minecraft
5. wait a week
Does anyone know why this is happening and also what I can do to get back to playing minecraft on 1.7.2 and 1.7.4 servers?

Hi,
Clients running 1.7.4 should be able to connect to 1.7.2 servers.
If you cannot, the server is probably not running either versions.
