So all of a sudden today I'm having MASSIVE java leakage. Like before now I could run a vanilla SMP with a couple other people on it and the game on the computer at the same time loading 15 chunks with it being a little choppy but manageable. Now the game was barely playable. So I started poking around, cleared Java's cache, ran ccleanup, malwarebytes, uninstalled and reinstalled java, lowered chunk distance. All that happened was it was better, slightly for a short time, then the java usage would get so high it was maxing out the CPU and the game was totally unplayable. Then I deleted the .minecraft folder and let the .exe reinstall, also took the advice of changing the jvm argument in another thread here to "-Xincgc" and while it is at least playable now java is still using a massive amount of CPU even when the game is idling and it's still worse off than it was.
So what gives, anyone have any idea what's going on? Is it something in one of the game files in the previous folders loadup files?
HALP
Edit: when I just now went to load the same map via the SMP I got this series of errors, out of place skeletons and bats and such, may be it's a chunk error. I've used an earlier save of the map as I keep multiple consecutive snapshot saves as a result of previous chunk error issues and it seems to be working okay. Still running heavy on the java, but a lot better, relatively.
Edit 2: the game and the java usage have become totally erratic and it's making the game almost unplayable and is red lining my computer.

My understanding is the McEdit has a repair chunks function, you should try this out. Make a backup of your world first.
