I was screwing around on Technic modpacks, and decided to change my skin because it doesn't support the new skin system. I then played 14w05b, but forgot to reupload my 64x64 skin. I uploaded it, and I rebooted Minecraft (several times), but it never updated. I have all the overlays turned on, so that can't be the problem. My skin is updated (see here) but it just doesn't show that way.
It might not be registering because of the black in the backgrounds of the overlay for your skin. I'm gonna try to edit it out for you and upload you new copy and see if that works.
