So today I bought a MacBook pro (2010 13" Edition) and I tried running minecraft on it. Im not sure of why or how but I am only getting a stable fps of about 25. I have heard great things of the macbook pro and minecraft and i am not sure as to why I am not able to run it smoothly. If anyone could leave me a response that would be great! Thanks!

I use the exact same model, and I normally get 60-80 FPS, and I don't know why this would happen, but I would install optifine, which generally makes the game run better.
