I updated my graphics drivers yesterday only to find out that minecraft is now unplayable because of it. All blocks and entities are invisible. The only thing I can see is whatever an entity may be holding, an entity's shadow, or a player's name.
OS: Windows 8.1 (64bit)
Ram: 6gb
CPU: AMD A10-5750M APU
Video: AMD Radeon HD 8650G
Drivers are all up to date. I searched all over for a solution, unfortunately the answer is always "turn off mipmapping". This is NOT my issue. All blocks and entities are still invisible in version 1.6.4 as well as 1.7.4.
Anyone have any idea on what might possibly fix this problem?
This computer is fairly fresh, so if all else fails... I suppose I can just backup my data and restore to factory conditions.
Edit: Uninstalling all the drivers from the Catalyst seems to be a quick fix, but it does help in other games. It'd be nice if there was a solution to make them compatible.
This problem seems to have occurred after installing AMD Catalyst Mobility
