Hi, minecraft is lagging on my laptop, it is not the best laptop but should run minecraft fine


Specs:
Ram : 4gb
Graphic : Amd Radeon HD 8750 M - Intel Hd Graphics 4000



For the second time I KNOW the pc specs are not that perfect but it should run minecraft fine, so need help, please respond fast, this is getting annoying



(By the way I am getting 27 fps and about 30-50 fps in low settings)

And also if that will help, my os is windows 8.

Anyway there are a few things you can do, firstly if you have a 64 bit operating system, then get 64 bit Java! Really good performance boost. You could also try OptiFine, some say it does nothing but others claim it's doubled their fps. Also try updating your graphics drivers, and check that Minecraft is using your card and not the integrated graphics.

Dear Friend, first thanks for responding, I have checked the version already and installed java 64 bit, but didn't affect, updated my drivers, didn't also affect, but I am not sure if minecraft is using the the integrated graphics or the another one. I also just doesn't want optifine, it didn't affect anything. I know that is weird. maybe another solution to fix that annoying lag?I have also checked other threads, and most of them keep saying to allocate more ram which is not working for me, please help I want to get rid from this problem forever...

Did you crank down the render distance, set the amount of particles to "Minimal", and set the performance to "Max FPS"? Those help most of the time. Also, allocating more memory doesn't help it; in fact, it might even make the issue worse.

Dude I tried all of them trust me. still didn't affect. I am just getting tired, what is causing this problem...

sometimes lag can be caused by a ton of background programs running my brother can't play on his laptop because windows 8 has a ton of stuff always running in the background and it lags him and i usually get 5-10 fps on a good day so i don't know why people complain about 30+ fps being laggy

actually 60 fps is what my laptop actually deserve. but your pc might be weak thought. anyway I fixed the problem by re-installing my windows, trust me I tried all solutions but this one worked, I get now 60-120 fps.
