I tried playing Minecraft on my laptop last night, after not playing on it since this past summer. I was able to get into the game, but had no sound. I eventually delete the game, and re-installed. Now, the game crashes when trying to play. I cannot get into the game. A snippet of the Development Console text is below, followed by the actual crash report.
I am running Trend anti-virus, which I don’t know how to turn off (it is a work laptop). I’m not sure I can without uninstalling it. I read that Trend is not recommended, but I was able to play Minecraft just fine on the same machine this past summer. I’m not sure if this is the issue, or if it is something else. Any help would be great, thanks in advance:

I talked with IT, apparently it is from our Cisco Web Security program. I cannot turn it off. I suppose there is no way around this on the Minecraft end of things, correct? I do not play multiplayer, just solo survival.
Is it running on your laptop? If you take your laptop home is it still going to prevent you from downloading? Because once you download stuff once, you should be okay until the next update or you try to switch versions.
