After deleting Minecraft and Java from my computer, then re-installing Java, and removing java and re-installing Java (about 5 times now), whenever I try to launch minecraft it gives me the following error message:
The registry refers to a nonexistant Java Runtime Environment installation or the runtime is corrupted
The system cannot find the file specified.
Yes I have uninstalled both Minecraft and Java, I have (with bot uninstalled mind you) rebooted my computer, then installed Java, then rebooted my comp, then re-installed MC, all of this about 3 or 4 times now.
2: Download the java JDK from oracle. This is what got it working for me. I'd be happy to help if you don't know how to do this or don't know what this means.
