Minecraft has been crashing every time I load a world in single player or attempt to log into a server. Minecraft enters the loading world/ downloading terrain then crashes back into the launcher window. This has not happened before, I used to be able to play Minecraft perfectly fine with out problems in the past. The problem started yesterday and I re-installed java, it worked, but then the problem returned today.
Your video driver is crashing. 1.7.4 uses some new Open GL calls IF your driver claims to support them. If 1.7.2 works, but 1.7.4 does not, then this is likely your problem. Claiming support is not good enough, it must actually support it. Have you checked intel.com for a video driver update?
