I've just downloaded MC for my daughter. The launcher takes me to the Mojang splash screen, then returns to the launcher. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing Java. I've check Microsoft Update to make sure my drivers are all up to date. I've read through the forums. Nothing seems to work. I'm very frustrated and need help. Someone, anyone....please?

Well, the fact that you have this video card:

Card name: Mobile Intel® 965 Express Chipset Family

Is bad. This is a terrible video card for minecraft. You are probably going to need a different video card.
What you can try is updating your graphics drivers, from the Intel page, and if that still fails, try getting a different vid card.
If you're on a laptop, it will be rather expensive and difficult, and you might be better off getting a new computer.

The Intel 4 Series (and older) video cards are unable to play 1.7.4 and future versions of Minecraft. You will need to buy a new video card or computer to play new versions.

For now, you can still play 1.7.2 or older versions of the game.
