It has occurred to me that after the update to 1.7 I have been receiving 8 fps. Any suggestions to fix this?

My Specs:

AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 840T Processor 2.90GHz
4.00 GB of RAM
64 bit

Well, if it started lagging in 1.7, Then i would suggest downloading Optifine, or change Java priority to "High"
