Hi everyone, Dont know why my name is trolloler, it should be NoCoop1312, but anyways,
Im usually not the kind of person that would do this sort of thing and complain about stuff that went wrong, but the new launcher for minecraft is really getting on my nerves. I can run the launcher itself just fine, but when the progress bar above the play button finishes, when you would most likely believe the game was about to launch, it opens another launcher. Im trying to run 1.6.2 with mods, but even small mods like Toomanyitems or damage indicators wont work. i then tried to run clean, without mods, and still the same problem. this is why i put this Post in the unmodified section, because I thought that minecraft was not working vanilla, let alone with mods.

First, go to the Programs and Features in Control Panel (Add and Remove Programs on XP). Uninstall everything that says Java in the name. Then, go to http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp and select the 64-bit one to re-install Java.
Your issue may also be caused by security software. Disable any antivirus programs you may have installed and try again.
