Is there someplace I can download minecraft 1.6.4 or minecraft 1.7.2? I have several mods that will only work with these earlier versions of minecraft (prior to v1.7.4), but the main minecraft download page only provides me the option of downloading v1.7.4. Can anyone help?
To be clear I am not looking for the server; I am looking for the client.
The launcher (what you are actually downloading when you download Minecraft is the launcher itself, not the actual game) allows you to get older versions by going to edit profile, then selecting the version you want to use; for example:

Note that you'll have to follow the instructions given here in order to install mods, unless you are using an automatic installer, such as Forge. Also, I suggest creating new profiles, with worlds saved different directories, for modded versions and testing snapshots, so you don't accidentally load a world in the wrong version (even for unmodded versions this can corrupt your world; for example, in the latest snapshots they saved how item IDs are saved and they will be lost if you try loading your world in 1.7.4 or earlier).
